The ITS LLC staff members have decades of experience with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development in technology related projects. The services they have provided include:
ITS Planning – systems engineering analysis (ITS design projects, TMC video walls, video distribution, traffic signal systems corridor operations, ramp meters, motorists assistance patrol, ITS design-build projects, TMC operations) & regional ITS architectures (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Alexandria, Shreveport, Monroe, Houma and Statewide)
ITS Design – CCTV cameras, DMS, vehicle detectors, ramp meters, fiber & wireless comm., TMC video walls, (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Alexandria, Houma, & Mississippi River Bridges)
Project Administration – developed cooperative endeavor agreements & memorandums of understanding, design-build project development (Lafayette to New Orleans) and RFP & RFQ development (Motorist Assistance Patrol, ITS Maintenance Plan,
Motorist Assistance Patrol Operations – direct supervision of MAP drivers, regional performance, and patrol vehicle integrity
TMC Operations – direct management of TMC staff, TMC operations performance reporting, development of TMC standard operating procedures, staff assessments, and quality control
Construction – installation and integration of towers, communication buildings, CCTV cameras, DMS, vehicle detectors, power service, fiber cable, and wireless radios (statewide)
Maintenance – triage, replace, repair and other activates required to ensure system operations (every ITS device statewide)
Traffic Signal Designs – Hundreds of traffic signal designs ranging from two-lane intersections to Continuous Flow Intersections (CFI)
Traffic Signal Installations – Hundreds of traffic signal installations including controller and detection equipment programming, interconnect, ATC upgrades, etc.
