Ports of Louisiana
ITS LLC has played an integral role in making ports across Louisiana more secure. In their efforts to increase security, the Port of St. Bernard sought ITS LLC to assist with the integration of their new system. ITS LLC also assisted the Port of Greater Baton Rouge with their security upgrade as well as troubleshooting fiber communications and device maintenance. ITS LLC’s broad knowledge of camera surveillance systems and installation techniques made us a great fit for the Ports of Louisiana.
At the Port of St. Bernard, our crews installed a total of 76 devices which included thermal imaging cameras, HD pan tilt zoom cameras, HD fixed position cameras, license plate readers, and licensed radio links. ITS LLC provided detailed records of each day’s progress to the port in order to maintain efficiency and compliance. These devices are a vital part of maintaining security within the port as well as entering and exiting the facilities.
In addition to the surveillance systems at the ports, ITS LLC was presented the task of retrofitting (5) eighty foot telescoping mobile towers for the Port of St. Bernard, Port of Greater Baton Rouge, Port of Plaquemine, Port of South Louisiana and the Port of New Orleans. Our crews outfitted the towers with thermal cameras, HD pan tilt zoom cameras, observation lighting, and wireless radios. The towers are used to monitor port activity in the event of a major storm or power outage.
